Yin and Restorative yoga are both slow-paced, prop-heavy styles that are gentle and good for beginners. While they share similarities, they have different intentions and poses.
Yin Yoga - focuses on stretching and gently stressing tissues to imporve flexibility, lubricate joints and hydrate connective tissues.
Restorative Yoga - focuses on supporting the body to promote relaxation and healing and to release physical and mental tension.
The focus is on soothing the body and mind through stillness and deep rest, using abundant props to remove any physical stress and allow the muscles to fully release.

Learn the basics of Animal Flow in a 60 min class specifically for those new to “QMT” aka “Quadrupedal movement training” which is another way of saying“Ground based movements.” Animal Flow is a fun way to reach the flow state physically and mentally, it is challenging and effective. This system is designed to improve strength, power, flexibility, mobility, and coordination for all levels of fitness enthusiasts.
Starting on your yoga mat, you’ll be guided through fluid movement clusters, progressing into explorative movement to unlock your creative potential off the yoga mat! This class is perfect for anyone that has a desire to feel more comfortable in their body, while learning the fundamentals of Animal Flow. A Restorative Yoga class is designed to deeply relax and rejuvenate the body and mind through long-held, supported poses that require minimal effort. The poses are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, and the body is supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps to encourage total comfort and relaxation.
In this class, you won’t be moving through a flow of poses or engaging in any intense physical activity. Instead, you’ll experience slow, mindful postures aimed at calming the nervous system, improving flexibility, and gently opening the body. Restorative Yoga encourages deep breathing and mindfulness, which help reduce stress, ease mental fatigue, and promote emotional well-being.
