A Restorative Yoga class is designed to deeply relax and rejuvenate the body and mind through long-held, supported poses that require minimal effort. The focus is on creating a nurturing environment where you can unwind, release tension, and promote healing. The poses are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, and the body is supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps to encourage total comfort and relaxation.
In this class, you won’t be moving through a flow of poses or engaging in any intense physical activity. Instead, you’ll experience slow, mindful postures aimed at calming the nervous system, improving flexibility, and gently opening the body. Restorative Yoga encourages deep breathing and mindfulness, which help reduce stress, ease mental fatigue, and promote emotional well-being.
